INT. MOVIE THEATER DAY

Scene 1A Take1 WS

5 slaves are chained to movie theater seats they are wearing badly soiled shabby uniforms.

Scene 1A Take2 MS and Pan

And each one has a number and barcode printed on there foreheads.

Scene 1B Take1 WS

They are staring in a trance at a projection screen.

The projector is playing a loop of infomercials and religious programing at a very fast pace.

Scene 1A Take3 Ms

SLAVE-54321 looks over at SLAVE-54322 in a trance.

(smiling)
Even if your on a diet just look at all the great meals
you can prepare in the NO Time rotisserie!(Voice changes
to that of a product announcer)A ten pound chicken! 5
ten pound chickens! 9 juicy hamburgers! Enough wieners

SLAVE-54322 turns to SLAVE-54323 with a blank expression on his face.

(Chanting in unison as they jerk around constrained by the chains
binding them to the chair arms )

Scene 1A Take9 MS + Cut in

SLAVE 54325 is staring blankly the jerking of the others excitement loosens her chains
she is released. She moves her arms up and down in a robotic movement. She is able to
turn around.

Scene 1C Take1 MS

A light is creeping from a doorway she is drawn to it

Scene 1B Take4 WS

she looks back at the
screen the word “Buy Now!” and “For a limited time only!” are now appearing one after the
other in a rapid pace across the screen.

The other slaves are still chanting as they jerk around rapidly in there seats.

Scene 1C Take2 CU

SLAVE 54325 looks at the screen and then back to the doorway.

Scene 1A Take10 Ms

She sits up with a bewildered look on her face then sits back down, She then stands up
and begins to walk towards the light.

Scene 1C Take3 WS
She walks through the passage way.

Fade out to white.

EXT. CITY STREET DAY

Scene 2A Take1 WS

She is walking down the street in awe.

Scene 2B Take1 CU + POV

She looks up at the buildings.

Scene 2C Take1 WS

Cars are honking and whizzing past she covers her ears and runs into an alley.

Scene 2C Take2 WS

She runs down the alley like a wild animal in a frenzy and off camera.

EXT. INSURANCE BUILDING DAY

Scene 3A Take1 WS

SLAVE 54325 is standing in front of a fountain with a sculpture of 3 nudes.

Scene 3A Take2 MS

She walks around the statues and waves her arms, unsure why the are frozen in place.

Scene 3A Take3 WS

A SALESMAN walks in front of her.

Scene 3B Take1 MS

SALESMAN
(straightens tie)

SLAVE 54325 turns her head away from the fountain and stares blankly at the SALESMAN.

recession here, so people need to share a little.

(struggles with the word before it
timidly escapes her lips)

(collapse on the edge of the fountain
and takes off his hat)

(Points to the statues)

(looking up at the statues)

(covers her eyes)

(she jerks as if snapping back into a trance)

SALESMAN grabs SLAVE 54325 by the balls of her shoulders and looks
into her eyes.

Scene 3C Take6 OSS

SALESMAN
I’ve seen this before you must have gone through some
kinda trauma, my daddy had to fight in Nam.(opens his eyes wide)
SHELL SHOCK!

Scene 3C Take7 POV

(she pulls away)
Look its okay, calm down.

This room is so big, its so very strange.

SALESMAN

SALESMAN
I think your having a breakdown.  Maybe you need a cup of coffee

(unable to speak, but nods in agreement)

Scene 3D Take1 WS

They walk out of frame he is dragging her along by the hand, she is
still in awe of her new environment.

She looks around her like a young child as they walk out of frame

INT. AALTO LOUNGE OR CLUB ENVIRONMENT NIGHT

Scene 4A Take1 WS

SLAVE 54325 is in a room she’s staring at a screen projecting video she begins to
poke at the screen.

This is the point where she realizes her former knowledge of
reality was a illusion.

Scene 4A Take2 OSS

She sees there is a machine that is making the light come across the screen.

Scene 4A Take3 WS

She begins to walk toward it, the SALESMAN enters the frame he hands her a drink.

Scene 4A Take4 MS

He clinks his glass against hers she looks confused and is still entranced by the
origin of the video projected on the screen.

He motions for her to drink. She drinks the liquid.

Scene 4A Take5 CU

SLAVE 54325 has a look of disgust on her face.

SALESMAN whispers something in SLAVE 54325′S ear she laughs.

Scene 4A Take6 WS

He takes her hand and begins to lead her in a dance.

NOTE: This is the point in the film where SLAVE 54325 starts to realize what it is
to be alive. There should be a lot of tight shots of her holding hands  and smiling
with the salesman.

FADE OUT.

EXT. URBAN STREET EARLY MORNING

Scene 2D Take1 WS

SLAVE 54325 AND SALESMAN walking together hand in hand in the dawn.

Scene 2D Take2 MS

They walk by a store front window that has tv sets in the window and slave 54325 stops and                         stares in the window and sees a television.

Scene 2D Take3 POV

She sees images of the other slaves on the television.

Scene 2D Take4 MS

SALESMAN
Hey you like that T.V.
I have a friend that sells RCA’s I
could get you a good deal on one.

SLAVE 54325 doesn’t respond she is thinking of the others still in bondage back home.

SALESMAN
(continued)
(pulls Slave 54325’s arm towards him SLAVE 54325 resists his tugging)
Come on I wanna show you my pad, its not
much but a mans gotta have somewhere to rest
his head.

Scene 2D Take5 WS

SLAVE 54325 pushes the SALESMAN away from her and runs away.

Scene 2D Take6 MS

SALESMAN
(yells after her)
Hey where are you going?
Your making a mistake! I really liked you!

INT. THEATER DAY

Scene 1D Take1 WS

SLAVE 54325 enters the theater and walks down the aisle leaving the doors open.

Scene 1D Take2 MS

She is holding a pair of bolt cutters.

Scene 1A Take11 WS

Everything is the same as when she was freed.

The other slaves are still hypnotized by the same loop of images projected on the
screen.

Scene 1D Take3 MCU

(Looks over at 54324)

Scene 1D Take4 Low Angle MS

SLAVE 54325 crawls on her hands and knees and cuts the chains of the slaves, they
are unaware of her presence.

Scene 1D Take5 CU

(Puts her hands over her ears)

Scene 1D Take6 WS

All the Slaves look at her, then at each other.

Scene 1D Take7 MS

She grabs SLAVE 54322 and turns his head
toward the light creeping out of the door.

SLAVE 54325 starts grabbing each slave by the hand all pulling them up out of there
seats.

SLAVE 54325

Scene 1D Take8 MS

SLAVE 54322 takes SLAVE 54325’s hand in his and smiles deeply into her eyes.

At this point the remaining SLAVE begin to surround SLAVE 54325.

(begin chanting in unison
as they shake SLAVE 5432)

Scene 1D Take10 WS

SLAVE 54325 breaks free and run towards the door all the other slaves follow suite.

Scene 1E Take11 MS

The slaves are all coming out of the door one by one.

There is a freeze frame of each one as they are released and a short bio appears on the
screen about what happens to each one.
